It now has 17 teaching and research units, 51 undergraduate majors, involving 10 disciplines. The university currently has over 20,900 full-time general undergraduate students and 1,538 faculty members.
The university covers an area of 508 acres, with a construction area of 603,400 square meters. In recent years, students have won more than 280 national awards in competitions and teachers have undertaken over 800 scientific research projects.
