Wenzhou University is the only comprehensive university in southern Zhejiang, northern Fujian, and eastern Jiangxi. This is a key construction university in Zhejiang Province. It is located in Wenzhou, a famous historical and cultural city in China.
The university was formed by the merger of Wenzhou Normal University and the former Wenzhou University in 2004. Its origin can be traced back to the year 1933, glorious history of 88 years.This is one of the top-ranked universities in China. Wenzhou University has formed a multi-level educational structure that includes undergraduate education, postgraduate education, continuing education, international student education, and international cooperative education. There are 20 colleges. There are 55 undergraduate programs, 45 master’s programs offered by the university. The university has around 44,000 students studying there including 300 international students.
