Hubei University of Medicine was founded in 1965 November as Wuhan Medical College in Hubei, China. After several name changes and intensive modification processes, the university was given its current name in 2010.
The university has gained approval from the Ministry of Education and the Hubei Provincial Government. From the year 2012, the university had been granted permission to offer master’s courses as well.
